Here I Am To Worship

Pastor's Sermon Points 10-15-17

Scripture Text: Psalms 95:6-8
SUBJECT: Here I Am To Worship
INTRODUCTION: A few years ago God started us, THE MARK, on a transformational journey that was designed to move us as the people of God out of our Christian comfort zones in the world to be changed agents for Christ.
The 5 Practices of a Transformational Church
  • Radical Hospitality
  • Passionate Worship
  • Intentional Faith Developmement
  • Risk - Taking Mission and Service
  • Extravagant Giving

As we move into our text for consideration today we find the Psalmist giving the people of God an exhortation; an appeal; and encouragement; a call if you would to worship.

The Bible from its beginning to its close is an invitation to mankind to worship the true and living God.

Repeatedly throughout the Psalms we find an invitation to join the worship of the one true God.

Psalm 66:4 says: "All the earth shall worship thee and shall sing unto thee; they shall sing to thy name."

Psalm 96:9a says that we should "worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness."

Jesus came that me might know the nature of God and give their hearts and lives in His worship and witness.
